BioEnergy
What we do in bio-energy and the circular economy

3 biogas plant of 1 MW
25GWh/y of electricity production
90 000T/y of biowaste from agriculture
Belenergia is active in the
so-called circular economy,
by transforming agricultural and agribusiness
waste into energy through various technologies,
boiler (Enterra), anaerobic (Bartin, Belagri, Belagreen), and distillation (Bartin).
15 MW power unit of biomass 250K t waste and feedstock treatment/year 900 Nm3 Biomethane
Biomethane & Organic Waste (“FORSU” – Frazione Organica del Rifiuto Solido Urbano)
in development in Italy and France

ENTERRA
A BIOMASS PLANT IN THE FIRST PHASE OF OPERATION
70 M€ investment biomass unit
130.000 tons/y of agricultural by-products treated, such as grape marc
> 90 GWhe/y of electricity from biomass valorization
63.000 tons/y of CO2 saved, thanks to the efficiency in the control of combustion processes
Enterra is a biomass plant owned at 75% by Belenergia. Located in the Province of Foggia, region famous for its agricultural wealth, Enterra works exclusively with vegetables raw material: olive pomace, grape moult and wood.
For the moment, the installed capacity is 13 MW electricity for biomass and 43 MWth thermal. Thus the central will respectively produce 90 GWh and 350 GWh per year.
DISTILLERIA BARTIN
A PLANT THAT SYMBOLIZES THE POSITIVE EFFECTS OF THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY
40.000 tons/y processed raw materials
150.000 a.e. purifying capacity
7,2 GWh/y total production of electricity
7.600.000 Nmc/y total biogas production
7,65 GWht/y total production of thermal energy
Environmental Integration Permit (AIA) in June 2020 to upgrade to 650 Nm3, and authorize a third digestor, for a total investment of 11,5 M€.
The DISTILLERIA BARTIN S.r.l. was founded in 2003 in San Basilio di Mottola (TA), and is located in the heart of an area with a high agricultural vocation for both wine and olive growing.
The company was founded with the aim of enhancing all the by-products of the agri-food chain by transforming them into noble products but at the same time careful in minimizing the impact on the environment, an eco-sustainable future in a circular economy.
