Belenergia has become a key player in the development, construction, management and operation of solar photovoltaic power plants.
In 2011, we built our first solar farm in southern Italy, a region that enjoys 1,500 to 2,100 hours of solar photovoltaic production per year. Since then, our solar farms have grown to include projects of several hundred megawatts. Belenergia takes advantage of favourable climatic conditions to maximise solar energy production.
Belenergia has solid experience in managing on-site contractors and suppliers, rigorously supervising each phase of construction and ensuring a smooth connection of completed installations to the grid. During the construction phase, we prioritise local employment as much as possible in order to support regional economic development.

Agrivoltaics: renewable energy and agriculture in perfect synergy
In the field of agrivoltaics, Belenergia offers solutions that combine renewable energy production with agricultural land use, creating a perfect integration between technology and cultivation.
The agrivoltaic systems installed by Belenergia enable local farmers to continue cultivating their land while benefiting from energy production, with a double advantage: additional economic income and greater climate resilience thanks to controlled shading that reduces crop water stress.
