The project, located in Melfi, Potenza, includes four photovoltaic plants with respective capacities of 17 MW, 19 MW, 12 MW, and 10 MW.

Developed through a joint venture between Belenergia and the Sigma Group, these sites integrate cutting-edge technologies, combining fixed bifacial panels with solar tracking systems. This configuration also creates an innovative agrivoltaic solution, maximizing energy production while preserving agricultural land use.

To date, Melfi 1 and Melfi 2 are already completed and operational.

In addition, a 14 MW energy storage system is planned, which will provide flexibility and stability in managing electricity flows. The combination of advanced technologies and storage positions the project as a frontrunner in the energy transition, generating renewable power efficiently and with respect for the rural environment.
