Start-up of the CTIP Blu biomethane plant

Belenergia has officially started up the CTIP Blu biomethane plant in Mosciano Sant’Angelo. The plant will be able to treat 40,000 tonnes per year of municipal waste, of which 8,000 tonnes of organic waste from green sources. 

The facility will produce 420 Sm3/h, equal to 3,500,000 Smc/year of biomethane, representing a significant step towards the energy transaction. 

In addition to biomethane production, the plant will generate 12,000 tonnes per year of high-quality compost, thus contributing to the responsible management and recycling of organic waste. 

 The start-up of CTIP Blu represents a major milestone for Belenergia, promoting a circular economy and the use of renewable resources.
