B.E.A.R.
B.E.A.R. is BelEnergia’s plant in Brescia dedicated to valorizing organic residues and converting them into renewable energy, biomethane, and premium organic soil improvers.
B.E.A.R. (Bagnolo Energia Agricola Rinnovabile) is a 100% Belenergia-owned facility located in Brescia, Lombardy, which processes livestock-derived organic residues.
The plant is equipped with an anaerobic digestion system, an electric and thermal cogeneration unit, and a section dedicated to the production of mixed composted soil improvers, thereby consolidating B.E.A.R.’s strategic role within Belenergia Group’s circular economy ecosystem.
By 2026, an upgrading system will be integrated, enabling the production of biomethane with a new 500 Sm³/h line.
The revamping of B.E.A.R. is a project carried out 100% by Belenergia’s internal EPC.
