Founded in 2011 by French entrepreneur Vincent Bartin, BelEnergia is an Italian-based group active in renewable energy and circular economy

BelEnergia develops, builds, owns and operates solar PV and wind assets (150 MW operating & under construction) as well as biogas and biomethane units (19 MW and 1,900 Sm3/h operating & under construction) generating power and gas from organic waste.

SOLAR

BelEnergia has 32 MW in operation & 57 MW under construction.

BelEnergia was born in Southern Italy which offers from 1,500 up to 2,100 hours of solar PV production every year.

WIND

BelEnergia has 61 MW in operation. Among the wind intensity in Europe – Italy, Spain and Greece all aimed at combining favorable climate with the best business and regulation

BIOMASS

BelEnergia has 61 MW in operation. Among the wind intensity in Europe – Italy, Spain and Greece all aimed at combining favorable climate with the best business and regulation.

Biomass & Biogas

BelEnergia operates 2 biomass boilers with an equivalent capacity of 14 MW and 5 methanization units with a capacity of 5 MW produced from biogas. All our biogas sites will be transformed into biomethane.

Biomethane

BelEnergia operates 500 Sm3/h and constructs 1,400 Sm3/h
While competitors in O&M mostly use turn-key solutions, BelEnergia has developed 2 proprietary standardized 500 Sm3/h biomethane units, one for manure feedstock and the other for agricultural feedstock which are being replicated as the models for our new projects.

The Group has a unique, entrepreneurial and a hands-on approach to the business

With Development, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) as well as Operation & Maintenance (O&M) activities mainly performed in-house, which ensures timely delivery of projects, performance and cost efficiency

The Group’s pipeline

2.6 GW in solar & wind and 25,020 Sm3/h in biomethane is highly secured and will be developed and connected by the end of 2028
