Serra Martino” Wind Power Plant – In September 2021, the new 20.70 MW wind power plant built by the Belenergia Group in Basilicata will be commissioned, bringing the installed wind capacity to a current total of approximately 60 MW.
The plant, composed by 6 wind turbines Vestas V136 model with a unitary power equal to 3,45 MW, has been built in the Municipality of Oppido Lucano (PZ). Belenergia has acted as EPC, on behalf of its subsidiary Gallo Due S.r.l. Belenergia entrusted the engineering to IA.ING, its long-time partner.
When fully operational, the plant will supply enough electricity (expected production is about 50 GW) to meet the average annual needs of about 16,000 households.
The investment was supported by a Project Finance loan provided by BPER Banca. The operation represents the first loan to benefit from the SACE “green” guarantee, assisted by the Italian State, for the purposes of the new operations linked to the Green New Deal.
